New & Enhanced Features from 2009

As we begin the New Year, it is a good time to look back on all of the great new features added to PMXpert Software. There have been so many, you may have forgotten about some of them! Review our list below to learn about all the features we added in 2009 to help you save time and work more efficiently.

New and Enhanced Features (up to and including Version 10.6.0.355)

PM Schedule
  • Added a quick search box to the PM Schedule to quickly search whatever column the grid is sorted by at the time
  • Added the ability to reschedule a PM by meter as well as date
  • Added filter to PM Schedule to only show PMs that the user is responsible for
  • Added a ‘Complete’ option to the PM Schedule to complete services without having to create a work order first
Assets
  • Added an Asset Multi Edit to the Asset area of the program
  • Added a ‘Make’ field to the Asset edit
  • Added a Purchase Order tab under the Asset History to show all the purchase orders that contain items purchased for the asset
  • Added a ‘Copy Attachments’ option to the Asset – Attachment area
  • Added a ‘Copy From Asset’ option to the Asset – Part/Fluid List area, allowing users to copy asset inventory from one asset to another
  • Added Notes tab to the Asset area
  • Added option to the Asset Meter Import to identify Assets by their abbreviations instead of their names when importing
Services
  • Added a ‘Performed Date’ option to the Copy Services area to set the performed date when copying services from asset to asset
  • Added a ‘Locked’ field to the Asset Service to prevent the next date and meter from being recalculated when recalculating asset services. This option gets set to ‘true’ by default when you use the ‘PM – Reschedule’ option.
Work Orders
  • Added the ability to add a request to an existing Work Order (Either creating a new service or add to an existing service under that Work Order)
  • When creating a Work Order from an Asset Request, the description field will populate with the request’s description and be available for editing
  • Added a ‘When closing a Work Order Service, require all procedures to be completed’ option to ensure all Work Order procedures are closed before closing a Work Order
  • Added system setting to allow the creation of attachment type procedures when adding requests to Work Orders
  • Added the ability to choose whether or not you want to clear the performed dates of an Work Order Service Detail item when reopening a Work Order Service that has the same performed date
  • Users now have the option to close a Work Order that has open services on it. All open services will be removed from the Work Order and placed back on the PM Schedule.
  • System Setting provides ability to have the program automatically set overdue Work Orders to a certain status
Service Requests
  • Added the ability to add a request to an existing Work Order (Either creating a new service or add to an existing service under that Work Order)
  • Added system setting to allow the creation of attachment type procedures when adding requests to Work Orders
Purchase Orders & Inventory
  • Added the ‘Required By’ field to the Purchase Order Item grid
  • Added the ‘Last Cost’ field to the Inventory grid
  • When adding a detail to a Purchase Order, the program will prompt to add to the Asset’s part/fluid list if it is not already there
  • Added a ‘Required By’ field to the PurchaseOrderDetail table, now each Purchase Order Detail item can have its own required by date
  • Supplier inventory item names will now reflect changes made to the inventory item names
  • Added a default purchase order detail inventory lookup option to the System Settings
  • Added the inventory item column to the supplier item grid in the Inventory Find
Reports
  • Added a ‘Show group totals only’ option to the ‘Costing Summary by Asset’ report
  • Added an ‘Asset Downtime’ pipeline to the ‘Service History’ report that totals the downtime for each Work Order Service
  • Added ‘AddressBookLabor’ and ‘AddressBookLaborSecond’ pipelines to the ‘Asset List’ report
  • Added a ‘Print open services only’ option to the ‘Work Order’ report
  • Added a 'Request' pipeline to the ‘Work Order List’ report
  • Added ‘FluidCost’, ‘LaborCost’, ‘PartCost’, and ‘OtherCost’ fields to the the ‘Work Order Service List’ report
  • Added ‘LocationName’ field to the 'Asset' pipeline on the ‘Work Order Service’ report
  • Added the ability to pick the number of meter history, warranty history, and location history records to be displayed on the ‘Asset Snapshot’ report
  • Added ‘Supplier Name’ to the sort options of the ‘Purchase Order List’ report
  • The ‘Inventory Usage’ report can now be filtered by Received, Consumed, Both received and consumed or All, instead of just all or both received and consumed
  • Added the ‘AddressBookSupplier’ pipeline to the ‘Work Order’ report
Meters
  • Added the ability to select the number of decimals that an asset’s meter will round to
Costing
  • Added total quantity to the footer of the Cost Entry screen
  • Added a 'Multi Edit' button to the Costing Import screen
System
  • Added Attachment tabs to the Work Order and Purchase Order areas and the corresponding rights to the User Rights area
  • Added a ‘Show Filter Upon Entry of History Screen’ system setting to indicate whether or not the filter will show upon entering the History screen. When this option is not selected, the user must use the ‘Apply Filter’ button to get any history records.
  • Added system setting to allow the creation of attachment type procedures when adding requests to Work Orders
  • Added the ability to define custom colors for status codes
  • Added ability to Shift-Select check boxes in a check list box
  • The ‘Inactivity Timeout’ in System Settings provides the option to log a user out of the program after a set number of minutes of inactivity
  • System Setting provides ability to have the program automatically set overdue Work Orders to a certain status
  • Added a default purchase order detail inventory lookup option to the System Settings
