Scheduling

Up-to-date information is provided. Select a date and find each piece of equipment that will need preventative maintenance up to that date and exactly what the service is.

Work Orders

Clear, concise and easy to read. Print out work orders that show procedures, checklists, parts and labor requirements. Each work order generated will detail the necessary equipment/repair procedures, parts, labor, fluid and other costing types.

Detailed Reporting*

Get fast, detailed information with professionally designed, built in reports, or customize reports with the report explorer. Accurate information with detailed and summarized costing reports by unit or service. Know what your maintenance repair costs are and what each detail is costing you on each piece of equipment.

 

*Producing new reports requires previous experience with SQL scripts and report building.

Purchasing
Stock reports provide the current parts inventory position. Create P.O.'s to bring your stock up to the desired levels. The same part can be setup to be supplied by several suppliers.
Emergency Repairs
Create an emergency work order to monitor all service activity for each piece of equipment.
Flexibility
Each piece of equipment can be setup with as many services as necessary (i.e. 3 month service, 6 month service, annual inspection). Preventive maintenance services can be set up by time or on a counter (odometer, hour meter, etc.).
Count Updates
Update counts by entering in the new count or by entering in a value to be added to the current count.
Costing
Add any type of costing (parts, labor, fluid, or other) to assets, without a work order. Keep track of all other costing types besides the three standard ones.
Service Request List
Record any problems on assets that will be included on your next Work Order.
Overdue Service Scheduling
Accurate service scheduling prevents the user from "accidentally" missing a service.
Inventory Control
Parts or fluids used for a service or emergency repair can be set to automatically come out of stock.
Data Entry
Data entry is quick, simple and most comprehensive to use.
Categories
Set up types of categories for assets, parts, labor, and fluids. Create unlimited user fields to maintain all the information you need.
Warranty
Enter the warranty period of a part and if the same part is replaced during the warranty period, the system will notify you.
Asset History

Retain complete historical records of all posted work orders. Easily retrieve all work orders and access to history on each asset. View service history, costing history, count history and warranty information.

Messaging

Send reports through email straight from PMXpert. PMXperts optional modules for service requests and alerts have additional messaging benefits.

Address Book

Store company/contact information about internal departments/locations or organizations external to your business (Suppliers) and other business associates.

Wizards
Wizards make it easy to copy details of assets, assign services to assets, add details to work orders, import and recieve information. Wizards make the system user-friendly (especially for users with minimal computer experience or new employees), while saving time and ensuring that all necessary information is captured.
Program Updates
PMXpert is committed to incorporating customer suggestions and newer technologies to ensure that the software remains the most advanced preventive maintenance system. Access to updates are included with the Upgrade Protection Plan.
User Security Rights
Customize each user to have limited access to specific areas. Allows users access to different areas, while giving other users view-only rights.
Access or SQL Database
Allows for enhanced data integrity.
Asset Templates
Create templates to enter similar assets and avoid the time-consuming job of entering the same information repeatedly. You can even use an existing assets as templates!
Graphical Calendar
A user definable color code allows easy identification of the status of each service. View the calendar by week, month or year and show assets by category, location, department or responsibility - you decide what's best!
Moving Services
Quickly and easily drag and drop services from one date to another on the graphical calendar.
Automatic Notifications

Receive automatic alerts and notifications to keep you informed. Be the first to know if a work order is overdue. Additional alerts are available with the optional Service Request Module and PMXAlerts Module.
